From April 25th to Oct 31st, discover the wonders of the Yellowstone Super Volcano with our half day (5 to 6 hours) Old Faithful and Wild Geysers Tour. Led by a professional geologist from Big Sky GOAT Tours, you'll learn about the unique geology and ecology. Ideal for families with younger children, this shortened tour of the Upper and Lower Geyser Basins can also be customized to leave later in the day. Experience the natural beauty and wonder of Yellowstone with Big Sky GOAT Tours. For a morning tour, we leave at 630am or 7am only. For an afternoon tour we leave at 2 or 230pm. We explore more features and locations in a half day than the large group tours do in a full day. On this tour we will explore the Lower and Upper Geyser Basins, many geothermal features, and waterfalls. No pick up in Bozeman, but we can meet in Big Sky! We pick up in Big Sky or West Yellowstone only. The earlier the starting time, the less traffic at the gate. We also offer late afternoon tours starting at 2pm when there is no line at the gate. This private, guided, about a 6-hour TOUR from Big Sky INCLUDES: + A comfortable Mercedes 2500 Sprinter van that seats 8 people. Lots of leg ROOM! + All tours are customizable. + A knowledgeable certified Yellowstone guide and/or Professional Geologist. + The use of binoculars & spotting scope. + Your guide uses maps & teaching tools to highlight the science and background to the Yellowstone Super Volcano. + Guided walks to iconic park locations. + Snacks provided include a variety of nuts, fruit, granola bars, Clif Bars, seltzer, and water. + Ice chest to store beverages and lunch items. The tour price does NOT INCLUDE: + Meals + Park entrance fee $20/adult (kids are free), bring your Annual National Park Pass. + Guide gratuity. We greatly appreciate and accept cash gratuities (15-20% is standard) To reserve a tour date, the tour price is $775 for 4 people is required when booking. The price is $50 per person beyond 4 guests. It is an additional $80 to drive to the Montage, YC, and Lake Lodge. Please note at checkout a 3.1% credit card processing fee and a 4% resort tax will be added. If you enjoyed the tour (service), please tip your guide. We use Venmo or cash for gratuities. All ages are welcome. Children under 60 lbs must have a child seat. 3% of all proceeds go back to Yellowstone National Park to help implement the Commercial Use Authorization programs and their associated education programs.
